Advisory: PAEPI National Convention on Extension 2021

GUIDELINES

  1. PAEPI National Convention on Extension will be a virtual conference due to COVID-19 pandemic.
  2. Those who are interested to attend as Paper Presenter is invited to submit the extended Abstract of the extension program/project for review under the following themes:
    • Agriculture, Fishery and Environment
    • Higher Education, Social Sciences, Allied Health and Nutrition
    • Engineering, ICT, Technology and Entrepreneurship
  3. This virtual conference will feature an online Paper Presentation.
  4. Oral presentations will be held in parallel sessions/break-out sessions corresponding with the themes of the conference.
  5. Before the submission of the abstract, you are required to register online.

  6. After registering online, the Abstract must be submitted to paepiconfav.2021@gmail.com with the subject - Abstract for the PAEPI National Convention on Extension. All submissions must be written in the English language and must be made in Microsoft Word format (.doc/docx) only. Filename of the abstract should be: Full Name of the Corresponding Author (Last Name, MI. First Name) Title of the Paper_Type of Presentation.
  7. The abstract must not exceed 300 words. When preparing the abstract, the following format should be used:
    • Boldface, centered, Times New Roman (at the proposal)
    • Author's Name: Provide middle initial of the author(s) and set in upper case, Times New Roman, 12pt., centered
    • Author’s position: Affiliation and full address, Times New Roman, 12 pt., italicized, Author’s telephone/fax number and email address: Times New Roman, 12pt., centered, italicized
    • The body of the abstract should be:
      • An explicit summary of the presentation and includes the introduction, objectives, brief methodology, major results, and conclusions.
      • Single-spaced in 12 pt, Times New Roman.
    • Keywords: Provide a maximum of 5 keywords immediately after the abstract and it must be in italics form.
  8. Online registration and submission of the Abstract of the paper for Oral Presentation will be on or before November 8, 2021.
  9. For Paper Presenter, you will receive the Notice of Acceptance from November 15, 2021 to November 19, 2021
  10. Upon receiving the Notice of Acceptance, the author(s) must submit the full paper from November 22 to November 27, 2021 to the paepiconfav.2021@gmail.com with the subject – Full Paper for the PAEPI National Convention on Extension. All submissions must be written in the English language and must be made in Microsoft Word format (.doc/docx) only. File name of the paper should be: Full Name of the Corresponding Author (Last Name, MI. First Name)_Title of the Paper_Type of Presentation.
  11. Full paper must not exceed 10 pages and must include an introduction, method, results, and conclusion. The following format should be used for the:
    • Boldface, centered, Times New Roman (at the proposal)
    • Author's Name: Provide middle initial of the author(s) and set in upper case, Times New Roman, 12pt., centered
    • Author's position: Affiliation and full address, Times New Roman, 12 pt., italicized, Author’s telephone/fax number and email address: Times New Roman, 12pt., centered, italicized
    • The body of the abstract should be:
      • An explicit summary of the presentation and includes the introduction, objectives, brief methodology, major results, conclusions, and references.
      • Single-spaced in 12 pt, Times New Roman.
      • Up to 4-5 pages including 1 graph and/or table. Include the most significant figure and/or table related to the highlights presented in the abstract. It should also contain a complete caption describing the graph and/or table and should be placed above the table or below the figure.
    • Keywords: Provide a maximum of 5 keywords immediately after the abstract and it must be in Italics form. It should indicate the discipline of the study, concepts, methods, and process.
  12. The Paper Presenter shall be given 15 minutes to present the contents and highlights of the extension and development paper while 5 minutes will be allotted for the question and answer.

  2. Take picture or scan proof of payment (whichever is applicable)

  4. If proof of payment fails to attach, send to regpaepiconfga2021@gmail.com
